Universities with Free Tuition

  • Angelo State- Blue and Gold Guarantee– Must be a bona fide Texas Resident. Must be entering college as a first-time freshman. Must have a combined family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $40,000 or less.
  • SFA- Purple Promise – Must be a Texas Resident. Must be entering college as a first-time freshman. Must have a combined family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) of $25,000 or less.
  • Syracuse University- 10 Full rides for African American Men and Women interested in studying Architecture. Send email
  • Texas State University -Bobcat Promise- Texas State’s New Tuition assistance program. For first time Texas resident freshman with reported adjusted gross family income of $25,000 or less.
  • Texas A&M University – Aggie Assurance Program, Texas residents, who have adjusted gross income of $60,000 or less.
  • UT Arlington- Maverick Promise- Students must have a family income of $65,000 or less.
  • University of Houston– Cougar Promise- A high school graduate who has earned a recommended or distinguished diploma. A member of a family whose adjusted gross income does not exceed $30,000.
  • University of North Texas – Emerald Eagle – for students with families with an adjusted gross income does not exceed $40,000
