Round Rock ISD will host a College Fair on Monday, Sept. 25th at Round Rock High School from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Visit with nearly 200 universities and colleges. Visit your counselor for more information. Download flyer here.

Round Rock ISD Counseling Services and Leander ISD Counseling Services are offering two programs on Depression in Adolescents and Depression and Bipolar Disorder in Adolescents.

Leander ISD Counseling Services will host a program about adolescent mood disorders, presented by the Johns Hopkins’ Adolescent Depression Awareness Program (ADAP) on September 18th at 6:30 pm. The program will be held at Cedar Park High School, 2150 Cypress Creek Road, Cedar Park, TX. Dr. Karen Swartz, a mood disorders specialist from Johns Hopkins will discuss and answer questions about adolescent Depression and Bipolar Disorder. Topics will include characteristics, symptoms, prevalence and treatment.

On September 19th at 6:00 pm, Round Rock ISD Counseling Services will host a program on Depression in Adolescents. The program will be held at the Old Hopewell Building, Central Administration, 1311 Round Rock Ave. Dr. Karen Swartz will discuss and answer questions about adolescent mood disorders. Topics will include characteristics, symptoms, prevalence and treatment.

Both programs are made possible by the David Raymond Price Foundation. All parents and adults are welcome. The programs are not appropriate for children or adolescents.

Edgenuity courses that were in progress prior to the first day of school (courses beginning with 16) MUST be completed by Tuesday, October 31. Students that do not complete these courses before Tuesday, October 31 will need to restart the entire course utilizing the 17 version.
